I think Nyx has only had one dry year since they first rolled.

Goes to show the timing is what they don’t know. All day yesterday and this morning the prediction was rain would be over by tonight. On 8, the radar goes up until noon on Saturday, shows little to no rain up to that point. Won’t know until you’re in it I guess.

Which is why you always see weather people talking in probabilities rather than certainties. Rain hung around a lot longer than expected this morning.

Tomorrow looks good to go. Not a bad way to start my Mardi Gras this year.

Any change on Saturday? Like I mentioned, watched Fox 8 coverage, they show radar until noon Saturday and it looks clear. Didn’t show anything past that.

Which the professionals have been saying since Monday.

But, you’re doing a good job. Thanks for reiterating what they’ve been saying.

As far as Endy goes, if this is true, I guess they move it up. Hoping for the best.

Parades are trashy now.
well thanks for shitting on a lot of our tradition.

Going to a parade isn’t trashy unless you engage in trashy behavior at a parade

I wouldn’t mind getting to the dome a bit early.

The rain total has gone down to half an inch, which seems positive, the %'s are always changing.

Y’all are upset that I’m thanking the man for doing a good job? What’s wrong with you people?

I fish almost every weekend. Weather forecasting more than about 36 hours out is terrible in these set ups. Really won't know when, where or how much until about Sat morning and then it is still subject to change. Prepare to roll both mentally and physically and have a good time.
