So that's all it takes now, to get fired from your job.
He was the head HOA guy, and pool manager, asked several different people for their ID, but as you can tell from the video, he's being extremely racist towards her.

A white man who challenged a black family’s use of a private community’s pool has not only resigned from the homeowner’s association board — he’s also lost his job.

Sonoco announced Friday that Adam Bloom is no longer employed by the packaging and industrial products company, saying it doesn’t condone discrimination of any kind, even if it happens outside its workplace.

An officer then apologized to her. When Edwards asked Bloom for an apology, he walked away.
On Facebook, Edwards accused Bloom of racial profiling: “This is a classic case of racial profiling in my half a million $$ neighborhood pool. This happened to me and my baby today. What a shame!!”
The social media backlash was fierce, and soon targeted Bloom’s employer. In a Twitter post , South Carolina-based Sonoco apologized to Edwards and said the situation doesn’t reflect company values.

It takes a certain kind of frickhead to want to serve as an HOA officer, TBH.
Bet he was a Hellova hall monitor, back in the day.

What more than a pool pass card do you need?
Terrible decision by prick boy.

The "trashy" accusations on this board alone should show you it's impossible for most white people to not be uptight pricks

I don’t feel sorry for people that do this and get outed for it. Everything about this could’ve taken a different route.

He learned a valuable lesson in minding his own business.

I don’t know this guy or the history here obviously. Could easily be a matter of him being a terrible racist jerk, or just a dude with good intentions and poor social tact. Did he stroll up and demand ID, or did he go introduce himself, chat about the HOA, etc... and after getting weird answers ask for ID?
Past experience can be a hell of a thing with coloring opinions of the person being asked for ID. Someone that’s been hassled by randos showing up at a past pool might be thrilled to have a guy actually ask, while someone profiled on the regular could skew like we saw.
And of course he could be a schmuck that only gives minorities a hard time.
Without more context I’d be hard pressed to escalate the situation as an employer without something more though.

What could possibly be more context needed?
Don't be naive in thinking white boy was being diligent in checking everyone.
I'd be willing to bet my house payment he never asked for any id from any other pool guest. Quite possibly never even checked anyone for the silly pool passes.
He's a dick and don't try to sugar coat it.

Sucks that he lost his job, but with a camera in his face he was given multiple opportunities to walk away from this situation and doubled down on douchbaggery.

So he’s almost certainly guaranteed to be a fricking dickhead by nature.
