Isn’t iberville and Decatur right by house of blues. I’ve been numerous times and didn’t think it was bad.

I just walked down Iberville around 745 from watching Cowboy Mouth at Spanish Plaza. There was a huge crowd of people outside House of Blues. There were bbq grills and bounce music coming from that area. Told my Girlfriend something is going to happen. It's only a matter of time.

From the videos I saw, it was this crowd exactly.
Good thing is most people attending FQF would have been long gone by the time this happened. And I’m not sure anyone attending FQF would have been at this party regardless

It’s not notoriously dangerous (30years, lol) but within the last few years they put a night club on the corner that draws a lot of locals. I think it shut down after the last shooting. But I walked by on Saturday and there was a block party type gathering going on with some dindoos
