That’s a really scenic way to say neither were there

It absolutely is, that's why nobody noticed 11 people were missing until 8:15 AM, nobody was there to notice.

I guess I'm just a ridiculous person, because in my stupid world, a jail that is admittedly only staffed at 60% doesn't have jailers slipping out at midnight to run up to Jack in the Box for a snack. Bus also, it's what happens when lowest common denominator employees are left unsupervised.

They should place a “Do Not Stop for Hitchhikers” sign up as well.

I bet the inmates hopped the City of New Orleans heading north to Chi town.

Wasn’t he still in jail as I read it? He’d called them and said he was still there but had been moved. Maybe I misunderstood.

Yes, he was still in OPP, just not in the pod that escaped.

Imagine if there was one metropolitan city in the US you had to guess where this occurred. Would you literally think of any other city where this would occur?

Of the two employees who monitor the pod the inmates were housed in, one was not physically there, and the second had stepped away to grab food, the sheriff’s office said.

Looks like the Sheriff is putting that extra tax money that barely passed to good work.

According to Wikipedia, she was born in Philadelphia, PA and raised in Houston.

What is it that would make her a “Soros plant”? I wouldn’t think anyone on a national level would give a damn enough to try to get someone in place at the OPSO.

She was backed pretty heavily by soros funded foundations from what I recall.

Ran on reforming the prison and changing the culture of OPSO.

Woodfork was probably going to stream roll her anyway even before this.

This was literally Soros’s strategy over the past 15 years. He shifted focus from national candidates to going hyper local like DAs and Sheriffs. It worked

You'd be wrong. Soros and his orgs have funded numerous DA candidates and other local public officials. It's how we got the jurisdictions where they just let everyone go and/or give them slaps on the wrist for serious felonies.

It's how European nations got their two-tiered justice systems, which are being replicated here.
