Damn, I was at work in Houma and missed it.
I knew it looked like the flight path would continue it down the bayou.
Anyway, my house seems to be on the flight path to Belle Chasse Naval Air Station. I can recall seeing some Fighter jets at the time at low altitudes when I was younger. Nothing like the roar of a jet.
They must use the Cut Off water tower as a visual reference point.
As cool as this is, I wonder if the libs are going to go crazy over how much this is costing the military.

Here in UT we got a flight of 4 F-35's out of Hill AFB yesterday. It was by Son's 9th Bday. We told him they were for him.

Is this part of JBE’s plan to make us scared about what’ll happen if we disobey his SAH order?

Had 2 F-16's here in SC two days ago. Was pretty awesome.
ETA: Since you're from SC originally and will know which crew I'm referring to, it was The Swamp Foxes out of McEntire.

Took it for the OT when I was driving by that fateful day.

Outside with my five year old boy waiting for the flyover, north of downtown St. Amant. Hopefully we’re able to see it from here.

the dreaded hose can be seen as well

Every mornin' in Metry
you could see him arrive
He stood five-foot-six and weighed maybe two-twenty-five
Kinda broad at the shoulder and wide in the gut
And if you mouthed off you might get cut by Big Lee (Big Lee, Big Lee) Big bad Lee
And we all know that Lee called Bonnabel home
In his LSU house and truck of chrome
He talked too much much, not quiet or shy
And a lot of folks knew him as a jerk of a guy- Big Lee
He got into a fight, Big Lee couldn't run
Lee had hose, but his neighbor had a gun
The end of the story, well it's easy to see
That that was the end of Big Lee

But I bet it's absolutely terrifying for the enemy.
On the other hand, with the F-35's, they might never see them at all.

Just got 2 passes of the F15s in Mandeville. I didn’t think they’d venture over here but it was cool to see.
