Also, Latoya was against it. Now, granted, that may be only because she has her own tax increases she wants to pass. But, she was against this one and talked as if she saw this for the sham it was.

She must not have been able to secure a proper kickback from their COA if she was against it.

I'm glad this potential tax lost, but I can tell you that the Council on Aging in New Orleans does actually help the homebound elderly with the meals on wheels program compared to the Council on Aging in Baton Rouge which should be shut down for being a dishonest, piece of $hit organization.

The turnout was ridiculously low because it was the only item on the ballot. But I definitely made it out to vote because my property taxes are high enough.
