I don't want war. But this is the exact mentality of western Europe in the 1930s after being devastated by WW1. Look how that turned out. I don't know what the answer is. Countries and city-states have been invading each other for thousands of years. It will probably keep happening for thousands of years. How you respond to it goes a long way on how bad the bloodshed is.

No it's just this whole "we must universally condemn this and if you disagree you're an anti American traitor" that's all very eerie from a government and media that continuously preys on its own people. A boots on ground war with Russia would be bad. No one wants that. IMO dismantling the Russian oligarchs is a start, cause chaos within their circle.
