re: No, we should not send our military to Ukraine. But can we speak the truth?

So you don’t think it has anything to do with him maintaining control domestically but instead some scenario in which NATO somehow invades Russia.
If that’s true then he’s completely off the deep end.
do you really think this 80 years of nuclear peace is going to last forever? That is naïve AF. As a leader of a world power, he is planning as if it won't.

honestly, this has always baffled me......it was kind of teed up for him (not condoning his actions).

I just pointed out that the "Tucker=Putin's puppet" is literally a CNN talking point. Verbatim.
Unless you were watching Tucker or CNN reporting on him, there would be no way to even know his views on the matter.
On the flip side, that some of you think that anyone not willing to drop everything and focus entirely on Ukraine is in Putin's pocket is telling as well.

Why does Russia need a buzzer zone. Do you think there’s even a 0.001% chance of NATO invading Russia?
NATO members engaged in regime change in the Ukraine and military action in Syria which directly threatened key Russian military holdings at Sevastapol and Tartus.

What’s naive is thinking Putin has some noble view of protecting mother Russia that’s fueling his motives here

I disagree. Our establishment pushed and wanted this. And what's happening now is the early ramping up of war rhetoric. It's the exact same as before, it's just coming from the left and mainstream media.

But upgrayyed, don’t you see how close Russia has moved it’s country to NATO bases the past 20 years? This is an OUTRAGE!
That's dumb. These countries joined NATO for protection from Russia not to have the power to attack.

Protecting Russia from an outside power that has invaded 3 times in recent history or he is a mad man that wants to control all eastern Europe for personal gain. Which makes the most logical sense?
Edited: still haven't finished my coffee.

Nobody brought up fox besides you!
The fact that every leftist uses fox as a way to control discussions/debates is mentally bankrupt, but since most have a fixed mindset of superiority, they don't like somebody to tell them they're wrong or even partially wrong!!! It makes them feel inferior instead of taking the opportunity to grow and learn!!! Most that bring up BS like Fox or racism feel a lack of understanding and therefore resort to straw-men or ad-hominem!

Last I checked neither of those places are in Russia.
At least not yet anyway.

Sure, if you completely ignore that the Ukraine oligarchs with a significant financial interest in EU trade agreements were the highest donors to the Clinton Foundation between 2009 and 2013 (while Hilary was Secretary of State). If you completely ignore that US policy on Ukraine changed under Clinton in 2012 to a policy of financial intervention and support for regime change. If you completely ignore that the US financially supported the antagonist of the 2014 coup. If you completely ignore that key operatives were placed into the Ukraine government following the coup (especially financial sectors) by the US government. If you completely ignore that US political family members were given political positions that resulted in million-dollar salaries by these same political operatives and donors.
This just needed to be posted again.
We are doing the same dumb shite we have been doing for decades. Screwing around in other countries politics while ours goes to shite because our politicians are corrupt as hell.

There is no "the" in Ukraine.
Also, Viktor Yanukovych was an a-hole. There's a reason why so many were happy to see him go.

They don’t have the ability to control Western Europe and nobody said anything about going that far.
If you meant to type Eastern Europe then your second option makes more sense by a pretty larger margin.

As long as you completely ignore all of that, your line of thinking makes sense.
The lefties here will call you a Fox news watcher.
Don't forget about Joe and the Crackhead's interests in Ukraine too.
Chances are good the Progs will ignore your post all together and just continue to crap on the chess board.
