The article states the investigation into this showed he was not speeding, he actually slowed down when he saw something in the road, and changed lanes. If the victim walked into the path of the truck, how is that vehicular manslaughter?

I don’t know this guy or the guy he killed. Don’t care one way or the other about either of them. What I care about is the rule of law. If a law was broken, charge and prosecute him. But from the investigation done, he broke no law. Doesn’t mean he’s not an ignorant shitbag. But being an ignorant shitbag isn’t illegal.
