10am Pacific time. This has the possibility to be Must See TV. 20k free tickets were gone in less than ten minutes. Will be live streamed on local TV website. The funeral procession will be going through all the finest parts of town. I’m putting the over/under for shootings or separate incidents of generic mayhem at three (3)

If he’s so great, why the frick did it take him getting murdered for the black (or rap) community to give this dude recognition??

Because someone started a conspiracy theory that it was the government who killed him because he was working on a documentary on some dude who claimed to have cured HIV or something back in the day but he died and there was a conspiracy about this dude being killed by the government.

I have seen this being spouted about on twitter non-stop.

I'll put the shooting line at 1.5.

Assault / battery related arrests: 24.5

Drug possession related arrests: 36.5

Average decibels from cruising cars in the immediate area: 78.5

Yeah, well, since they didn't miss the first time, shot placement for the second shot is a moot point.

Um, it didn't. Just because the average redneck coonass on this board never heard of him before he got killed doesn't mean much. He's been highly respected in the rap community for well over a decade.

He was literally just at the Grammy's in February because his album was nominated for Best Rap Album of the Year. Does that sound like he wasn't getting recognition to you, dumbass?

I'll put this in terms you can understand: Nipsey Huddle was to rap what Sturgill Simpson is to country. Neither has ever really gotten mainstream radio play for whatever reason, but both have huge followings in the underground side of their genres, both have always been highly praised by critics, both are well respected by their peers, and despite the lack of mainstream radio play both were respected enough to be nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammys for their respective genres.

Get it now? Good

I’m just saying, he’s getting so much ‘mainstream’ love now, why wasn’t he getting ‘mainstream’ love before?? It was a genuine question you fricking prick
