I listen to rap. I love rap. I travel to Los Angeles five or so times a year, where I spend 80% of my time driving a car with Power 106 playing.
.. And I have no idea who Nipsey Hustle was.
I can't stand when people try to look cool and not know who a famous icon is, but I literally have no idea who this dude was nor do I know any of his music that has been popping up on Spotify's Rap Caviar this week.
EDIT - Well I see someone explained back on page 1 how respected he was and that he was nominated for best rap album at the Grammys. I don't know how he remained off my radar then.
