The New York Times has announced its list of 52 places to go in 2018, and No. 1 is New Orleans. "There is no city in the world like New Orleans. Influences from Europe, the Caribbean, Latin America, Africa and indigenous peoples have made it the ultimate melting pot,'' the Times wrote.

No. 2 on the list is Colombia. With the war finally over, the entire country is opening up,'' the Times writes.

Basilicata, Italy is No. 3.

Venn diagram of people who hate New Orleans and people who reflexively respond "fake news" when they hear New York Times is a single circle, so this should be good

Visiting New Orleans is like visiting WestWorld with the safety parameters turned off.

Some of the best sex, booze, food, and adventures you can imagine but you might get scalped.

Awesome. More AirBnBs by outside investors making it even more expensive to live here.

No, that's why it's #1. More authentic.

It’s a shame that such a great city is run by a bunch of racist pandering idiots. World Class city run worse than most third world countries.
