Be careful if you come to town and rent the bike share blue bikes.

As a New Orleans resident, Nola truly is a great place to visit. It's a bastion of hedonism, there's plenty to do, everything is close, great food, etc.

I don't think I've ever heard someone say they didn't enjoy Nola when visiting. It's great because they don't have to deal with the political corruption, crime, shitty education, infrastructure, etc.

The problem is living here.

For those who don't know, the top editor at The New York Times is a high yeller from New Orleans, so one could safely assume that he had no quibble with his staff ranking New Orleans #1.
