New Toyota Tundras only have V6 engines now? Tacomas only have 4 cyclinders?

“bullshite. There is no replacement for displacement”
That’s why I have a 2021 Ram 5.7 Hemi and will never get rid of my 1973 Charger with 440 glorious cubic inches, over 400ft/lbs of torque and 475+ HP.
12mpg and all American made!

Just curious, can you still get a Nissan Frontier with a V-8?
Don't think the Frontier ever came with a V8.
V6 was always an option and still today.

But no auto manufacturer would care. They have moved on, consumers for the most part have as well.
bullshite. Consumers have absolutely not moved on from V8’s and auto makers would be more than happy to oblige them.

Nobody buys the V8s on the market. Most people are more concerned with things like gas mileage

These ain't pappys four and sixes. My GMC has a 310 hp 430 ft lb torque 4 cylinder motor that is better than any truck engine I've ever owned. It hauls horse trailers effortlessly. I'm very happy with it.
I would imagine that it's the same thing is true with the Toyota.

ou do realize the stress difference between a NA V8 vs a small 4cylinder turbo hybrid to move a 5500lb vehicle, right?
Bet it has something to do with torque.

When it comes to pickup trucks, I completely disagree.

I agree w/ your disagreement.
V-8's > * in the fullsize segment.

True. I hope they last, though.
Turbo 4 cylinders aren’t making a good name for themselves right now, though. So far I haven’t heard a lot of negative about the GM turbo 4’s. But they’re still relatively new.
Toyota? It’s not good so far.

I will say, the v8 with aftermarket exhaust sound great.
Truck bros are the new ricers.
Quit bothering everyone with your shitty exhausts.

The new frickin Land Cruiser only has a 4cyl
But almost the same torque as the 8 cylinders. A good bit more than some of them like the F150, Sierra, and Silverado. Almost a 100lbs more than some of them.

A big V8 with a mean exhaust will always sound like heaven. Turn in your man card pronto.
