Someone once told me it's impossible to look masculine while drinking through a straw and I laugh in my head all the time about it when there are straws being used.

How come no one ever jumps doctors and dentists for all the rubber gloves? Turtles out there choking on them for sure. And every time they change rooms, new gloves. Not a peep. This doesn’t apply to nurses because of the hero thing. But those others, why are they allowed to kill the turtles? Fancy bbq dudes on tv with the black gloves, too. Same deal.

Paper vs. plastic straws have negligible impact on the environment regardless of which one you choose. I don’t have to study it to make that conclusion.
