Some estimate it could instigate 20% more business closures (after a year that saw massive closings)

The worst part is that the smug uptown liberals still won’t get it.

Sounds like any restaurants wanting to stay afloat need to start breaking leases and move to Jefferson Parish.

I must have missed the huge protest of bar and restaurant owners and employees picketing City Hall. Anyone got a link to that?

Sadly, I've seen too many nod in agreement with their authoritarian overlords.

For a city that supposedly prides itself on residents patronizing local businesses over chains, Destroya sure is trying hard to tank the local economy.

I'm happy Cantrell is becoming the national face of mandates. Mandates couldn't ask for a better mascote.

About the only way to get Covidians attention is for them to lose the things they hold sacred.

August is usually "coolinary" month in new orleans because it is the slowest time in the tourist and restaurant business. Alot of restaurants take a 2 week break as well during this time

So I would hold off here thinking this is a slam dunk

Went to dinner Tuesday night in uptown. They didn’t ask for vaccine proof and it was full.
