I understand there is rampant corruption in all areas of Government.

With that said

How in the world can NOLA flood at all after all the money that was dumped there after Katrina?

What do you mean? It's not like they used the money to prevent street flooding

Where?

Well, not in my area of Mid-City, and we usually get heavy street flooding when it rains like it has been. I'm talking sidewalk to sidewalk and up driveway flooding, but the streets are totally clear of water right now.

Don't worry because she will not be bullied by racist flood waters.

Went from Lakeview to uptown to Jefferson and didn’t see any flooding this morning.

We’re getting popped in Gentilly. It’s finally starting to slack off but it’s been steady coming down for about two hours.

The worst of the rain has been over the CBD and all points east from there.

some of the usual flooding hot spots have been spared so far.

You can’t even get into downtown from the interstate. Every off ramp is flooded. Entire I-10 and Westbank expressway as it enters downtown is a parking lot.

I got on the shoulder and reversed all the way back to the airline exit to get the frick off and go home
