City leaders don't give a shite about you. Just more building so we can increase our tax base.

WWL just said parts of city got 3-4 inches in just over an hour. That will cause flash flooding almost anywhere.

There’s 3 feet of water on perdido downtown right now

Nothing new. It fits in well with the world being back to normal.
Even the lunatics driving on the interstate and city streets are also showing that everything is status quo.
One of the most typical drives downtown on the year. People tailgating doing 10 mph+ over limit then some doing half the speed limit with blinding rain and flooded streets.

Lots of people getting sick of the flooding problems
At this point it really doesn’t matter why it’s happening. It’s just happening too often.
Since there is no way to control the amount of rain that falls and the city isn’t going to upgrade pumping capacity to deal with it, the only answer is “For Sale” and get out of dodge ASAP. Property values will be impacted.
Nice place to visit. Headache to live

Mitch spend millions and millions of dollars repairing the old system instead of installing new pumps and forgot to fix the generators.
As of last week I believe one of them was still broken.
We don’t have a flooding problem. We have a governmental incompetence problem.
