Do you really think there have been 26 thug on thug interstate shootings in a year? Including a number of people that didn't at all seem to be living the gangsta lifestyle?

The WW2 museum should move to a safer place

It will eventually.

He will probably come back with some nationwide figures on shootings on interstates. Typical liberal riding the coattails of the achievers to look good on the average.

I consider that an overreaction. New Orleans certainly has a crime problem, but the chances of field trip visitors to the WWII museum being victims of it are practically nil. It is a good thing the heroes depicted in the WWII museum were not that squeamish.

Weren't you the guy telling people to go watch the Mardi Gras parades in Bogalusa because of safety concerns. How'd that turn out?

Northshore school that my kids go to has always taken a specific grade to the WW2 museum until this year. They’re concerned about crime in general, but more specifically the interstate shooter.
I’m sure teedy is happy. Less whitey driving around in her town. How bad does it have to get?

I grew up in a New Orleans where you could put 8 y/o's on a bus or street car to go shopping on Canal St. and never worry. It is way past the statistical tipping point, the crime is not out of control, it is in control.
People under 18 and over 60 are defenseless unless everyone is packing heat.

Are you serious? What school is this? Private or public?
What a bunch of damn idiots running that school. People complain about kids being soft... well... it's the teachers and school admins who are making them soft.

Unless the school bus is returning at 1:30 am, I think they will be ok.

Mostly peaceful parade. The afterparty, on MLK drive no less, wasn't as peaceful.

id guess well over 100K vehicles drive through that I-10 stretch daily. You have a better chance of hitting the Louisiana lotto than being shot on I-10 but don’t let a couple facts ruin a good triggering
ohh, we’re playing the likelihood / odds game with children’s health now? Because i’ve been told for the last year that children ALL have to be vaccinated and boosted immediately, regardless of the fact that the odds of them being healthy and dying from COVID19 was significantly less than 0%. You know, muhhh SCIENCE
how convenient

Avoid New Orleans at all costs.
Especially the D-Day Museum or whatever they’re calling that dump now.

Everything you love about New Orleans….
…..is dead and buried.

Seriously?! Teaching your kids to live in irrational fear. Good lord. Stay in your Northshore fragile little bubble.
Cause the chance of a group of school kids running into trouble in the middle of the day at a world class museum in a decent area is highly unlikely. Sheesh.
