No matter which side of the abortion issue you find yourself, yet another manifestation of our downward slide when a city decides for itself which laws it wants to enforce or not. As AG Landry said, NOLA must not be enforcing any laws based on the number of murders there.

Ignoring the rule of law destroys society, Obama started this at the border, Cities joined in with their safe havens for illegals. Now we see NO deciding to ignore state law.

And as all this happens we see more and more lawlessness on the streets. We see drug use out in public. Homeless camps thrive near many busy intersections.

Society is crumbling as we pick and choose which laws to enforce and which laws we should obey,

I live in an area that followed the state constitution and voted to form its own city. A judge says we can’t because another city depends on our tax dollars. No one considers my rights and BR continued to waste my tax dollars,

Without law and order we will fail as a society. That is evident.

But he wont

The next governor will almost certainly be a Republican, likely at least a somewhat conservative one (I can't fathom Cassidy being the guy).

They will go to war with the city over this, especially if its someone like Landry.

Progressives do not believe in the rule of law. Liberals do, not progressives.

Progs want a Democracy, where the minority has no protection from the majority. They're just too naive to understand that Democracy isn't what they think it is.

I kinda always figured the final nail in the powder keg would be Federal agencies have themselves a stand off with State agencies, but State vs its' own City would probably do it, too.

Weak gotcha is weak. Small government doesn't mean choosing to ignore the law.

legal battles between each link in the government are as old as the Republic itself.

City vs State vs Feds etc.

There are law firms all over the country that specialize in this interplay and dynamic.

It won't be anything new.

Hasn’t Jason Williams pretty much been doing that since he took office anyway?

It sounds like it is not safe for a baby either.

Truly an evil place with evil leadership.

only when it’s Blue Cities in Red/Purple states. Otherwise we need a top down government for all based on whatever the folks in California, New York, and DC decide is best for us.

Why does the government continue to pay for abortions? Is that small or large government?

States rights and nullification are seen as Racist by progressives.

Unless they do it, of course. Don't expect them to be consistent.

I support nullification.

i’m all for Nola making their own laws, rules, and governing themselves. But let’s build a wall around it for safety purposes and everyone who’s a registered citizen there has to continue living there for the next 2 decades at minimum.

They don't. They just support their views du jour over anyone else's.

OT Sees a class of gun downed elementary school kids and says it's a small price to pay for their freedom to own guns.

OT Sees someone have the equivalent of a heavy period and suddenly the life of kids are important to them.

OT Sees a 10 year rape victim forced to carry to term and says that's fine.

The rank and file poster on here has been trolling for so long they no longer know what the hell they stand for.
