The pushback on this needs to be massive or this will roll out to additional communities.

Her contact information is easy to find. Blow it up and spare no mercy.

Nevermind the Constitution, their feelings and emotions trump that outdated document. We really fricked up by not pushing back on the covid crap because they'll just keep invoking "emergency powers" to trample our rights. Climate lockdown restrictions will be next.

Constitutional rights aren't absolute she says...

If you are hung like a young field mouse I guess you tuck it and nobody would notice but if you have a Mississippi white snake you can't conceal that python.

Why would you go to New Mexico in the first place? I went to Old Mexico long ago when the racing was good and the booze was cheap. Those days are gone.

Making a law because broke a previous law, sounds like that may work

All democrats believe this.

You know Joe Biden's stupid rants about gun rights where goes on about people owning cannons?

There are lots of dems going on about "the constitution isn't absolute".

They HATE it because it's a deterrent in their quest for absolute power.

Law abiding citizens that take the time to become licensed are not the problem. The 14-16yo thug dropout living the ‘gang life’ on the other hand…..

Throw in the fact most violent criminals have been arrested multiple times and let out jail by these same people who claim guns are the problem.

Liberals are great at creating the problems that they claim they need to take away your rights to fix them.

Let this be our stand to say no more.

If the Constitution isn’t absolute, then the 16th Amendment clearly isn’t. So why do I pay a metric frick-ton in income tax?

If the Constitution isn’t absolute, then the 13th Amendment clearly isn’t. So why are black people always demanding reparations?

If the Constitution isn’t absolute, then clearly the 14th and 19th Amendments aren’t. So why do we allow emotional women (many of whom have no business voting) to vote?

Do I need to go on?

Everyone should open carry each and every one of those 30 days.

I'd open carry a carbine everywhere if it were socially acceptable. Easy money, lockdowns, and libertine drug laws have turned this country into a very dangerous place.

Way to profit:

Hire lawyer, cash check. Clear 2A violation.

I said it in the Poli Board thread: civil disobedience is the answer here. Every law-abiding New Mexican who owns a sidearm needs to strap up and open carry in the streets. Let’s see them try to arrest everyone. It’s doubtful they have the legitimate legal authority to arrest ANYONE.

You serious? Our 2A rights have been slowly eroding for a long time. “Shall not be infringed” means exactly that. There should be NO gun laws but we’re restricted at every turn in the name of “safety”.

I feel like Lieu and Hogg (especially Hogg) are more concerned about state public health emergency being used for something else.

I support gun safety laws. However, this order from the Governor of New Mexico violates the U.S. Constitution. No state in the union can suspend the federal Constitution. There is no such thing as a state public health emergency exception to the U.S. Constitution. https://t.co/kOhLMtaOl2 — Ted Lieu (@tedlieu) September 9, 2023
