Yeah, that and once you add parking and hotel room it isn't that big of a difference.

A320
Frontier’s jets seat about 150.

They may be adding this route to add more fleet optimization.

It is still incredibly quick. I flew to Houston around Christmas and I doubt it was more than a 5 minute process from walking in to sitting at the gate.

checking in and getting through security in less than 30 minutes is of value.

I've been able to do this at pretty much every airport that I've ever flown through.

Yeah, 30 minutes at MSY is a stretch let alone LFT.

That whole NBC/Fox news crew is awful, but I watch them for entertainment.

If you are referring to traffic, the airport is in Kenner and you will hit almost no traffic getting there.

A bit of a head scratcher. Frontier doing LFT-DEN must be company mandatory for starters. I doubt that flight is half full even at just twice weekly. Orlando should do fine on a seasonal basis.

Im sure Frontier got some incentives from LFT which make it low risk for them to try this. Can just end it in 6 months if flights are half empty.

Probably incentives for a period of time.

LFT gets more than just CR2s and E145s. There are CR9s, E170s, and even a 717 on delta.

AA has one flight with a 717 too. And United/Continental has what looks like a 737?

American doesn't fly 717... your thinking of MD-80's.

If United flies anything into LFT that looks like a 737 then it's an ERJ-175 or A319.

They fly e-175s which look like a small 737. Engines are on the wings instead of the tail.
