Sounds miserable. Hate going to the beach in summer. Too crowded and hot AF

Go at least 5-6 times a year from late September though May through

It's worth it to drive to MSY in some cases.

We recently flew on Southwest direct flight to Baltimore for about $300 each round trip.

Forget parking at the airport for $20 per day.

We now stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kenner because they have a package deal where you spend the night, they shuttle you to and from the airport, keep your car parked at the hotel for 4-5 days all for one price: about $135 total including taxes.

If you are taking the red-eye out of MSY, a 6:20 am departure to get the best price, that hotel stay, shuttle, parking combo is worth it.
