If someone knocked on my door at 4 am they’d end up with a gun in their face

Always thought a great way to prank a buddy is to advertise a garage sale at 6am at his house.

They always come early.
Really early.
Those people will spend 10,000 hours to find that one original stretch Armstrong that is worth $200.
Can’t do math in terms of $$ per hour.

Like someone else said....
Goodwill > having a garage sale
Having a garage sale is a massive pain in the arse and absolutely NOT worth ruining your Saturday. It will make you hate the human race.
Drop your crap off at Goodwill and enjoy your Saturday.

Quite an ironic statement here.

Any dealers show up early to offer $200 for everything?

Last one we did in 2010 back in Atlanta people came 24 hours early with flashlights in the am and people stole about half the shite which I didn't really care about.

If you were in Alabama I’d bet there’s a good chance it was my wife’s aunt who showed up at 4:00 AM. The only thing that woman loves more than antique & thrift stores is a good yard sale.

Make sure you have an old TV remote and a picture of Elvis priced stupid high.
Everyone that shows up picks up the remote and tries to make it work to the sky and then asks for the price of the Elvis.
Gets them every time.

Hey man, y’all got any old Coleman lanterns or stoves? Asking for a friend!

I remember getting a Stretch Armstrong in the late 1970s and was really excited. I played with it for a day and a red jelly-like substance started leaking from its neck. It sat on the living room bookcase mocking me for the next year until it got tossed.

If you ever want to meet some strange and stupid people, having a sale is a way to make that happen no doubt
Man, I thought I was cheap. But I'm not a haggle on a $1 item kind of cheap. Jesus. I remember the last time I had a garage sale (it was like a neighborhood-wide thing, never hosted my own) that people would try and haggle me down 10-15 cents sometimes.

If by Mexicans. Yes they do have things to do. They have to be onsite for their job at 6am. Sorry you are a lazy frick. Go back to bed boomer.
