We dropped Netflix a couple months ago.
I pay $20 for a product where almost every new show they produce mocks my worldview and celebrates debauchery.
Pass.

Thanks, Trump.
And Israel.

Obama needed a raise so he can recruit more volunteers to staff his Presidential library.

Stop watching so much TV and sports. Your life will improve immensely. Just try it for a month.

I have 5,000+ channels and over 30,000 VOD movies.
ALL pay per view, full NFL package, etc. there is nothing out there I can’t access.
Costs $10/mo.

This one will push me to lower from premium to the standard no ads plan and I'll cancel on the next raise. I get some paid by TMO but not beyond standard with ads.

Not to mention that damn near everything else you may want to watch is pay per view. Wha'ts the point of a subscription if you gotta log in and pay to watch a 20 yo movie. Piss on 'em. I don't even watch TV anymore. May keep news or something on for background noise, but that's about it.

My DirTV was $200/month ealier last year.
Called DirTV and was going to cancel and they cut it to $98/month.
On last bill has gone back up to $180/month.
The only advantage to DirTV is that programs can be stored to play.

I am about to start canceling shite. My Cox bill for February was $310. I called them and talked them into dropping it to $250. I paid that in March and got the April bill and it was $315.00. They gave me one month of $250.. I have to call them back and tell them I will go to youtube tv if they can't keep it at $250..

Netflix is another piece of society's downfall.
How so?
I resisted Neflix for years, but had pretty much every other streaming service known to man: Prime, MAX, Peacock, Paramount+, Showtime, STARZ, etc.
My wife retired 2 years ago and I subscribed to Netflix as a retirement gift to her. Netflix is now my first choice when I'm looking for something new or random stuff from the past.

fricking shite! Tuesday night I was updating my monthly budget and I saw Netflix was $19.53 and I thought to myself "they will probably have 3 price hikes within the year".

Remember when shite used to go up.. Every few years?
Good gawd! I thought my $250 / month DirecTV bill was high.
I ditched DirecTV 3 years ago and switched to YouTube TV.
YouTube TV hands out discounts like candy. I haven't paid full price in over 2 years. Every time one expires, they automatically offer you a new one. You don't even have to ask.

Usually I have no issue with these price increases, but the quality of Netflix's original content has been absolute trash the past couple of years. I find myself watching Netflix less and less.

Netflix has lost just about everything decent.
They have Breaking Bad, which I had never seen before, believe it or not, until earlier this week.
Got through the end of Season 1 last night. Will start Season 2 tonight.

Then I would have to go 35 mins out the way to go bring cox back their box..
By switching to YouTube TV, you easily save enough to cover the gas money.

By the time you pay for all the different subscription services you end up paying more than you did when you had cable or satellite tv. Do the math sometime.
