Sure they do

In a natural state, you'll have grass and weeds however. Most of the alternatives you linked require mowing and maintenance as well.

If you have an HOA, you most like have to have grass. "Alternatives" are expensive and ugly to most people.

Maintenance, yes. Mowing? Not necessarily, and certainly not something that would require a full internal combustion engine mower. As for HOAs, cost, and aesthetics, that's all fine, but they are all choices. My point was that mowing grass is not a necessity as it was posited when I referenced loud music. That was all.

That's early, but I've solved this problem. Moved to the city where people don't have yards.

That way you can sleep in when the loud music and sirens are going off til 3am.

What's wrong with mowing early other than the wet grass?

Light sleepers trying to sleep in a little later on the weekend?

What’s wrong with mowing at 8? Especially when 75% of the people on this site live on lots that take 30 minutes to mow and weedeat

Anyone who supports mowing grass at 6:45am are the same people who waste $50k plus on a jacked up pickup truck they don’t truly need.

There is no getting through to them.

I’ve got a Ryobi electric mower. I could cut my grass at 1am and you’d never know

Its not good for the grass to cut it before the dew has burned off.Makes for a less clean cut and damages the grass

Uh, you're 'cutting' it....that's counts as damage. It'll grow back me thinks.
Hell, get out there and cut that yard before the temps climb into the 'oh $h!t it's hot' stage of the day.

.....and have a breakfast beer while doing it!

Zero common sense on their part. But they’re probably push mowing their 1/8 acre lot so they don’t really care

My wife likes to nap with the baby when I cut grass. The constant low noise through the windows she says is better than passing cars. I fail to see the issue with 6:45.

These clowns saying 645 in the AM is no problem would likely be bitching to high heaven if I was out there mowing at 11PM.

The tractor has headlights and it has mowed in the dark before.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is reclaimed water? I’m guessing water that’s not pulled from an aquifer, right?
