iPhones offer better performance and more optimized apps, but you may more money for the "apple brand" and the need to buy proprietary cables and such.
Android phones are cheaper but apps tend not to be as optimized due to the huge variety of hardware configurations on Android devices. Samsung makes powerful phones, but they also load them with the largest amount of bloatware.

I hate that apple says "Frick you" if you want to use your wired headphones or want to increase your data storage using a micro-sd card. Apple forces its sheeple to conform to what they decide is what you need.

Are they more reliable? I feel like my brother (who is an android-stan) is always getting a new phone, whereas I got an iPhone 6 when it came out and just replaced it a month ago with an X.
