Sorry for your loss. It's never easy losing someone you love and in such a short time.
I lost my youngest sister under similar circumstances a few years ago. She was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor and not more than 2 weeks later she was gone.
In a way, it was actually easier on the family once they got over the initial shock of the diagnosis and prognosis. It was quick and she didn't really suffer long term like so many cancer patients often do.

So sorry to read this SOS. I lost my mom June 8th, and I miss her every day.
Glad you were able to be there with her and say goodbye; not all of us are able to do that. That is one regret I will hold the rest of my life. We just didn't know her time was as short as it was.

Prayers to you, SOS. We anticipate my own mom leaving us any day now. She is ready but it's still not easy.
