I've heard of playing stupid games.

But robbing a cartel is off the charts stupid.

His brother died... one cartel member is alive, and on the run with a trafficking warrant.

Also gonna at a stash trailer.

Am I reading it right that the teacher was shot through his bullet proof vest? Assuming it was with an Ar-15 or Ak most likely from close range?

As said, so we have 1 dead bad guy and one dead badder guy (cartel dude). Then we have one live bad guy that was arrested and assuming multiple other cartel guys that are alive and on the run? Is that right?

If these guys knew it was a stash house, wtf were they thinking robbing a cartel? Wondering if they were small time drug dealers themselves and got into a beef with the local cartel guys or something? Maybe they bought from the cartel?

It's even worse than that...

Investigators determined Harris and Stewart broke into the mobile home of Alonso Beltra Lara and waited for him to come back, according to the sheriff. When the man returned home, a shooting broke out that resulted in the deaths of Harris and Lara, Johnson said.

Why wait for him to come back. Steal the shite and get out. I just don't get it.

I have a feeling they were dealers that bought from the cartel. And that they either were getting revenge or looking for a bigger score then they found. Who knows, its dumb as hell either way.

Also very possible they were getting out when the guy came back and found them.

I guess NC School Board really should have done more to fund teachers supplies after all. Obviously the lack of funding drove this honored soul to commit murder and robbery.

And how does this known cartel base remain in operation?

Because our government is in on it

Better to have big cartels you can sorta control than small groups constantly warring

cause they most likely knew that the Mexican cartel members was due to get to the stash house with a large, fresh new shipment of goods, so they broke in ahead of time and waited for him to get back. Assuming this based on what we’re reading, would make me assume this “school teacher” was very heavily involved and connected in the drug and gang life. You don’t randomly do stuff like this without having inside knowledge, and you’re not a rookie stealing a little bag of weed when you’re going in with a bulletproof vest on, tying up cartel members, and executing them with 2 to the back of the head point blank.

Talk about living a double life.

For high school kids, that man will go down as a legends in those hallways.

They didn’t find the drugs is why they didn’t take them. Cops found the drugs not the robbers.
