Notre Dame 98. Freezing. Shirtless, painted. It didn't work out.

Negative but positive - same year (98 sucked) I stopped losing my shite when we lose or play badly after watching a guy (who I didn't know) do it for the 30 minute walk back after the game. He was cussing, kicking stuff, trying to start fights, acting a fool. His girlfriend was noticeably worried. We followed kind of close just to make sure she got back somewhere safe. I have never let a game get to me to where it changes my entire behavior or wrecks my weekend since.

I can’t believe these guys think that really happened, and the first time they’re hearing about it is in a random post in an OT thread.

That’s insane and fricking classic!
My brother was one of the last holdouts to be evicted from Tiger Stadium around 86.

Oranges raining down on Florida State.

I was there that night. I was a junior in HS and my Dad and I sat in the West upper deck. We had oranges flying out from behind us over our heads. Pregame, the Seminole rode over toward the student section on his horse and got pelted…they almost knocked him off.

And then there was that weird mist creeping in in the 4th qtr.

About 20 years ago I was at a hot as hell game and I sent under the concourse down one of the ramps to sit for a bit and drink some water in the shade.

After a few minutes my arse started feeling wet. I look over and someone had taken a piss a little early a little ways up the ramp and it had run down and got on me.

It was Western Carolina 2000 wasn't it? That mfer has to be in the top 5 hottest games in Tiger Stadium.

Mine was auburn 2005? When we beat them a nd that poor kicker missed like 6 field goals. They had a chance to win it, crowd went silent, then boooiiinnngggg hit the upright! Still remember that noise.

Also Tebow and the cell phone

Went to the OM game in 2009. Sat next to two Ole Miss women, maybe a mother and daughter. they were obnoxious as hell, would not stfu and clearly didnt know what was going on. It was pretty cold game. I tossed two piping hot hand warmers at these broads, smoking the daughter in the head. We lost the war, but I won that battle

You do realize they don’t actually SING that song. The band PLAYS the Alma Mater and the National Anthem while the crowd sings. You think anyone in the stands know the words to the other song or will sing it? How can be people be this gullible is beyond belief.

Especially now that it's literally a law that the national anthem must be played before events at a publically sponsored stadiums/arenas.

My dad took me to a game when I was in the 3rd grade. He surprised me earlier that day that we were going and ended up sitting a few rows behind the LSU bench. After that experience I was hooked on football. This was during the DiNardo era.

LSU - Oregon State 2004. Prior to kickoff, it rained as hard as I've ever seen it. Once it stopped, naked guy streaks...and the poor female EBRSO deputy had to remove her baseball cap to cover the guy's junk as they escorted him off the field.

Then OSU's kicker missed a couple extra points in the slop, if I recall, and LSU escaped with a 1 point victory.

When I was probably 10 or 11, LSU had a Jefferson Pilot 11:00am kickoff against Kentucky. It was crazy hot just walking around campus. Once we got in the stadium, I started feeling sick and went in the bathroom. I destroyed that bathroom until about halftime, and my dad took us home. I always felt guilty about making him leave early, but that time spent in that stadium bathroom oven will never get away from me.

One of the LSU cheerleaders got hit by a Jack Daniels bottle after the T-Bob-Jefferson snap vs Tennessee. I've never seen so many pissed off fans from my view on the field

Watching Hokie (RIP) get tackled by his jock in the USC game.

I called Deke and Hokie about 2008 and talked to Hokie about it. We were laughing and fricking Deke said 'Take care' and hung up, prick.

I saw Hokie a few years later at Rouses in Mandeville and he remembered the call and agreed with me about Deke.

That's like people screaming that LSU players better not ever kneel during the national anthem (when the pros started doing it). True followers of LSU.
