Had a girlfriend in college from down the bayou. There used to be this restaurant called “Sha la la” in Cut Off. It was amazing. I don’t think it’s there anymore unfortunately but I haven’t been down that way in years.

There is a little cafe in Converse, LA. (used to be called "Granny's
") that is really good.

The Village Grill in Grand Cane has excellent food, though it is expensive. They have Ahi tuna every Friday.

We have a couple of their restaurants in NWA. Haven't been yet though. That good huh...

They're all a bit different. The one in Greenville is by far my favorite.

I want to trythe Bright Star one day. Can't you still eat in Bear Bryant's booth?

Yes his booth is still there. When I went we went with a longtime Alabama football staffer (a family friend) and we sat at “Saban’s table” in the back. The star of the night was the snapper throat

A) Fat Mama's food sucks, and the margaritas are just ok

I agree. At one time they were something to die for. It would not surprise me if we were to find out they were made somewhere in Chicago or Springfield Missouri.

We go through Natchez almost weekly and gave up on them a year ago.

They ARE NOT the same old tamales.

The tamales are meh and the margaritas while good don't "Knock you Naked" like the claim.

Rumor I've heard is they come straight out of a Sysco truck.

I still like the place for what it is. Liked it better when it was in the little old cabin on the hill.

"Not Your Mama's" in Livonia. (Don't be in a hurry when you eat there)

Fat Mamas has the worst food in Natchez. It's horrid reheated Sisco bullshite "Mexican" food and canned Hormel tamales. I don't even think they cook shite in the kitchen anymore, just use microwaves. The people in here who think it's good either haven't been in 10+ years or they have the palate of a meth headed aardvark.

Turrible last time my wife and I ate there. Lea was rolling in his grave at the sorry excuse of a pie they served.
Add Graysons in
Clarence La, shell of its former self.

Cream Machine in Mer Rouge is a win.
