Why put anyone in jail for anything ever?

I don't like violence, but after reading that I want to punch the parole board in the face.

Whoever runs against JBE just needs to slow this over and over. I can't believe the people who voted for him

This implies that JBE runs again.

If things continue on this course, I figure he bows out and a self-funder like Fayard runs in his place because I doubt lightning strikes twice for the state Dems.

no way they got a 3-0 vote on the up and up.
the board is made up of 2 women and 1 man. no way those two women vote to release him unless they have something on these women. it just doesnt add up and make any sense.

I thought you were required to serve at least 85% of your sentence for a violent felony? How does this guy get off with just 25%?

I say this with all the heart-felt sentiment of an EBRP and LP resident until 2013:

frick Louisiana.

Every bible thumpers I know voted for Vitter over JBE. Those idiot Darden supporters followed his lead and went back tot heir democratic roots.

I don't blame the thumpers, blame the party for not being able to field a decent candidate. Take away Vitter's hooker ties and he's still pretty meh, just another politician.

Between that and people feeling burned by Jindal, well it was ripe for the picking for a guy wolf in sheep's clothing like JBE.

A piece of shite politician who has been authoring and carrying bills for years now trying to parole convicted murderers.

Got to wonder who all these cowards are downvoting people who opine that this animal should remain locked up....

Andy Dufresne did more time than this monster is gonna do and he was innocent.

I don't give a shite how good this monster behaved in prison. You can bet your balls that if this guy had brutally murdered someone on the parole board's family or someone in JBE's family that all of these assholes would be saying he deserves to die in prison. This guy should die in a cage. PERIOD.

Yeah, but then they would end up doing more time than the 17 years that this POS served.
