Does the governor have any power to reverse this decision at this point? I didn't see this conclusively addressed.

I've called the Governor's office but conveniently, no one is picking up

The stupid bitch that is the Board Chair (Sheryl Ranatza) replied to interview requests with this SHITTY canned response: "The statutory authority and responsibility of the Committee on Parole is to weigh the information made available to it, taking into consideration many factors--the most important of which is public safety. Victim input is also carefully considered."
How the hell could victim input have been seriously considered when the victim was raped and murdered and the victim's mom stated that she got no notification of this hearing even though she has been living at the same address in Albany, Illinois for decades? They claim to have sent the notification to Albany, New York instead. She said she thinks it was done on purpose so the victim's family couldn't make any statements because the hearing had only the murderer's family present. This is an OUTRAGE - why were they even having a hearing when he was told he had to serve at least 85% of his 71 years sentence when he pleaded guilty to her murder??? He has served only 25% of his sentence. SOMETHING STINKS BAD HERE!

Yea, this stinks to high heaven. Who does this POS know?

Renatza used to work at Angola. One can only conclude that she developed a friendship with "Sam", as she referred to him at the hearing.

Where is Dexter Morgan when you need him.

I found the reason this sicko is eligible to be released by these heartless imbeciles:
"Due to a loss of some evidence, he was allowed to plead to manslaughter and attempted aggravated rape. He was sent to prison for 71 years, or so the family thought.
Due to a new state law, first-time felony offenders can be granted parole after they reach 45-years-old, and having served 20 years."
I wonder if she would've called him "Sam" with such friendliness if even one of the victim's family was present. She probably f*cked him while she was working there.

From Hillar Moore on Twitter: "Victims have the constitutional right to be notified & heard by parole boards that can not ignore or forget them."
So it's unconstitutional that the victims mother wasn't notified.
The fact that this POS originally only got manslaughter and attempted rape is bullshite too.

I think the mother is right - they didn't notify her on purpose and gave her this story that they accidentally sent the notification to Albany, New York instead of to Albany, Illinois. I call complete BS on that because she has had the same address for decades. I would imagine that the notification would have come back as undeliverable since it was going to an address in Albany, New York that didn't exist.
A simple phone call to the mother would have corrected the issue, but they probably didn't want her to know about it.

To be a unanimous decision is odd because most of the members seems pretty okay based on their bios:

shite like this shouldn't shock anyone.
This is what Progressives do.
Dollars to donuts this a-hole already has voting rights and welfare lined up.
It is good for the people of LA to get a solid feel for what Progressives really want.

Got a 71-year sentence...served 17 years...Parole Board claims he's done enough time. 71...17. Are they all dyslexic?

Parole rescinded. Re-hearing set for another date. Boom

Rescinded and to be reheard. JBE reading the tea leaves. They better not let this fricker out after the next parole hearing because everyone's watching now.

It's a shame that it had to come to this. Shout out to Nakamoto for getting this out there
Posted on 4/21/17 at 5:38 pm to Cap Crunch
Great news! As already mentioned, it shouldn't have come to this. JBE appointed the board, so ultimately it's his failure.

Great news but on this subject Arkansas kicked Louisiana's arse this week.

Nakamoto reporting now that the parole has been suspended for a rehearing of this till a later date.
