Once a killer, always a killer. Now wouldn't be horrible if this killer gets out and kidnaps, rapes and kills a family member of one of the parole board. Could you imagine letting a man out of jail to do that to your own daughter?

How can you even attempt say that 17 years of a 70+ year sentence equates to your societal debt being paid?

Ridiculous.

ETA I could understand if this was a nonviolent crime but this is about as heinous as they come and the board is all Willy nilly about him just entering the public domain again.

Buyer's remorse is big with that chump.

Scruffy doubts there are many people on here who would even admit to voting for him now.

This makes me sick when two guys I grew up with legitimately made one-time terrible decisions while fricked up on drugs and are stuck rotting at Angola with 2nd degree mandatory life sentences.

frick this system.

If this poor lady has any men in her family, this situation should take care of itself pretty quickly.

I've said it here before, and I'll say it again...Every republican who had a Republicans For JBE yard sign should be kicked in the nuts, and forced to leave the party. This guy swindled every last one of them into thinking he was a moderate. Guess what you kept out the guy who cheated on his wife. Great job. Now this is what we are stuck with. Letting killers loose, and more taxes. Solid job. Leave the Republican Party please.

Rule #1: NEVER, NEVER trust a "moderate" Democrat! It's all a lie just to get elected and not sure why anyone would still fall for this. Are these the same people who fall for the Nigerian email scam?

He's already toast. The only thing that could save his arse is an oil boom and that doesn't look like its happening anytime soon.

Wow if I was a family member I would be camped out with a 7 mm and this dude wouldn't live through the week. I'd then probably go after each and every parole board member.

So you guys probably all are against mandatory minimums for drug offenders then, since it results in druggies staying in jail while murderers go free?

And, according to the article, the DA says he is linked to multiple unsolved muder cases
