Reading more about it, it's gotten popular because women see trashy nouveau riche celebrities getting them.

Your opinion sucks. You make it seem like she's only having the child for the husband. You seem really mad about this as well.

I bought my wife a really nice pearl necklace as a “push present” but then she had an emergency C-section so I said I guess that means no push present for you.

Post partum women have absolutely no sense of humor.

Yes, was news to me as well. If you can, get her something nice, it’s the least you can do for all that they go through. I got her a Louis Vuitton after the 3rd kid.

I’m go glad my kids were born before this, stupid “gender reveal” parties, and pussy-whipped men going to baby showers became a thing.

I'm not mad at all, we can agree to disagree cordially. But when you call someone stupid out of the gate you come across as an a-hole. That impression remains.

The simple truth is that if the man's wife desires a small token for bearing a child, why would you not get the woman something? Do you care so little for your wife or your child that you wouldn't even entertain the thought? Happy wife, happy life, as they say.

Three babies and no gift was given nor expected. I’m the mom and personally I think it’s ridiculous. Youngest is almost 19 .. so maybe I’m just out of touch but I still think that’s crazy.
