I honestly thought that you were talking about 3 for 1 and shitty singing on Bourbon Street. I don’t know what is worse.at least you can sleep in the theater.on the other hand,

Cats is a horrible musical to try to make a movie version of. Les Mis, Evita and Phantom worked as movies.

Cats is about the choreography, which can’t be duplicated outside the stage.

I enjoy the theatre, operas and musicals. I was excited to see Cats on stage.

It was dumb. The cool music and dancing couldn’t make up for a lack of a point.

Not seeing the movie.

I’ve never been a big fan of Cats.

Rebel Wilson makes my dick all kinds of soft... she and her terrible personality ruin movies... I feel badly for the Dame for associating herself with it

File for divorce if your ol lady tries to make you see it. It’s that bad.

Here's how bad it is: The studio has notified theaters that a new cut of the movie will be sent out this week.

They are REVISING the movie while it's in the theaters.

I saw Cats on stage at the Saenger in 1986 or 1987....... was performed by part of the Broadway cast on tour. Was invited to go by a girl that I really liked at the time. Had never seen anything like it and loved it, so I guess that I’m in the minority here. Meow!

The broadway/off-broadway musical on stage is, from what I’d expect, a BILLION times better/different than this bullshite.

I loved the stage version as well.

Take her to a live rendition of the Netflix documentary Don't F* With Cats. She'll adore it.

How do they plan on fixing it? Opening credits, end sequence, end credits?

I think the distributors would demand at least 80 minutes running time or would want out of their contracts to show this turd.

Once again, I saw it in 4th grade..wasnt impressed from the local theater

Folks on here are talking across each other, some about the great musical live performance that has been running for a million years, and others of a movie that is based on it. The movie is apparently terrible, and THAT is what is getting bad reviews.

I know for sure some of the visuals are being redone. Apparently, the guy who made it edited for 36 hours non-stop and literally finished the day before it was released. Basically worked until he absolutely had to stop because if he didn't, they wouldn't have time to distribute it in time for the first showings.

From the press it's getting, if he literally had an hour and a half film of cat shite turning white in the sun, he may have had a more successful movie.
