He's probably a chip off the old block.

This screams gambling on football and it's infiltrated Gen Z in a massive way.

Desire has to come from him.

College football is basically one day a week. What's he doing the other six?

Cash advances - he’s enrolled in a credit counseling program for students and has to pay off his debt by next December.

We had no idea he had 83 credit cards.

Ah, here it is. I'm really sorry to hear this. It's a huge addiction and impacts so many.

Hustling by reselling stuff on eBay and door dash

We’ve thrown him out and he’s couch surfing at the moment.

He blew off taking a federal exam with the post office and also TSA (neither required a college degree and was a career opportunity)

the thread title is cracking me up

i barely graduated from LSU with a 2.0 average. going to class was pretty much at the bottom of my list of priorities.

lets see:

- girls
- parties
- girls again
- going to bars
- girls
- spur of the moment trips to the Quarter on a random tuesday night
- girls
- lsu football
- girls
- rally burgers
- girls
- free pool at the Bayou every afternoon
- girls

Reminds me of myself when I was 21 y.o. I remember I had a mid-term and the night before I was drinking at a bar thinking I already knew the material on the exam. Of course, I failed it, and badly. I was immature and to top it off I had no parental guidance whatsoever. Long story short I was able to graduate and the last semester was survival for me.

If he loves college football so much maybe he can study a career that he will love such as sports broadcasting or sports management.

Now I can't tell if this is a troll or not.

If this isn't a troll and you own a masonry business, you need to get his arse home and stop paying for his shite. Tell him he's going to work for you or someone else until his shite's back in order or you aren't paying a dime for him anymore.

After my first semester my dad got me a job with a contractor during the winter break. That was enough to make me want to go to class and at least get a passing grade.

After working for a contractor in the ExxonMobil refinery and chemical plant for a year I was grateful to be back in school. Every day in class beat the hell out of working a physically demanding and dangerous job.

College football isn't on during his classes, so this doesn't really make sense? I assume he's just lazy af and also enjoys watching college football. It's not college footballs fault he doesn't go to class

Just read your other post. It appears your soon is addicted to gambling? How about you put that in the title instead.

I don't think there's anything you can do that will suddenly snap him out of it. I was in the same place as him at that age, substitute college football for video games and bowling.

I'd stop paying for college and tell him he has to get a job and pay rent. The only thing that got me on track was having to get a job. From there I worked odd jobs, then went to the Army, then got out and went back to college at age 26 of my own volition. So worked perfectly in time.
