I have, and I realize that. But why were straight guys "in demand?" Did the op think it was to bed the women? They can go anywhere in Orlando for that.

False. I'm here on the ground and while the Disney cast members are indeed LGBTQ, Orlando itself is a straight town. It ain't no Key West or Miami.

Congrats on the custodial engineering degree from Disney U bro. You'd have been better off going to clown college at FSU.

Very unlikely she'll be able to conceive. But they do take yearly trips. Adult Disney trips are awesome.

If we stop egging this on.

Maybe Chicken can flag down the FBI a half dozen times so LSU doesn't have this

You should. Had a friend do it years ago. He lost money. fricked no one. Hated his co-workers. Found the people vapid and stupid by and large. I think he made one friend. That's it. He said it was one of the worst experiences of his life.

I don't understand why people do it. There's no prestige to it. "Cool you waited tables at Disney World for next to no pay, why should I be impressed as a potential employer?" And to make it worse, they pay dogshit. You should quit, go home and find a real job.

My sister in law did the program. Had a better experience than my friend, but ultimately she admitted it did nothing for her. She was interested in trying to get into event planning and Disney is obviously a place for that. But to get into that part of the program takes being in another program for a year first, and then there's like 1 spot or something in the event planning department for someone to fill. She made one or two friends, lost money, and ultimately didn't like her experience.

Let your story and their stories be cautionary tales to people thinking about this program. It's fricking terrible and is for gullible, awkward, directionless kids to go try to find an awkward frick after college. That's it. And they can afford to not get paid enough to cover rent.

My report from Disney College program by LoveThatMoney

I was a Jungle Cruise Skipper with the college program from May-Aug 93. Even my roommate who was basically a janitor loved it. Best time of my life. Never missed a day of work and partied 5 nights a week. 50 of us slept on beach and watched a shuttle launch.

Kids these days are such wimps.

Maybe times have changed.

All I know is what I have been told. My friend was there in '08 and my SIL was there sometime around '12 or so. That's a 15 and 19 year gap. Long time.

I don't hate Disney, I've taken my kids several times. Adults who routinely go without kids are simple.

Must have. 3 of my friends did it in the mid 90's and all 3 had a blast and raved about it.

Weird bump, but I'll chime in.

I know people who did the college program and they were pretty much falling into arse over there. Judging by OP's grammar, I'm not sure he's DCP material.

I did it back in the 90s. During a summer and it was just 1 big continuous party.

Graduated '04, knew kids in Viiiiiiiiistaaaaa Waaaaay, during my time in college. Not that far off from your friends. They had a great time, it was more about the experience than gaining anything meaningful to their degrees though.

Knew kids that weren't staying at one of the Disney apartments, it was just a shitty minimum wage style job to them.
