I find it a little sad when I see these cases. Usually it's funded by debt. Most that can truly afford it wouldn't want that much $ sitting in their driveway in depreciating assets with carrying costs. Hopefully your neighbor isnt one of them and he has retirement, kids college, etc well funded and those are just play money.
