My next door neighbor and his wife have 4 cars.

He is 60 (second marriage) has a Range Rover and a BMW 7 series that are "his." She has an Audi sedan and just got a new Silverado. They are "hers." Their only child is 7.
It is literally a driveway full of cars for 2 people.

I am starting to think that I won’t make it past 60 or 70. So maybe I should just go out and buy whatever I want instead of saving for retirement.

They probably got tired of rental cars since the Rover and Audi will spend 1/2 their life in the shop. Rentals are scarce baw!
