My five year old won’t stop sneak attacking me by hitting me in the marbles

The little mother fricker has entered a shitty phase of running by me like he’s going after something and when he gets close enough, sticks his hand out and damn near punches me in the balls. The little son of a bitch got me again this evening.
I’ve fussed at him countless times and even gave a little spanking a couple times but I’m afraid to whip too hard since he’s so young so I barely spank. Fussing and spanking hasn’t worked so far.
How do I stop him from doing this? Do I just have to wait it out until he accidentally hits himself in the balls so he can see how it feels? Thank god the wife is already pregnant for our last one because lord knows if I could even get the job done anymore. I’m getting bullied by my own five year old!!

Though that’s an OT favorite joke, I actually taught him. The father in law started that process but I finished it and got him to do it on his own. Sorry to burst everyone’s bubble.
