Hey come on, I bought a Garmin GPS (my first one) from those folks a few years ago. I mean it was a basic model but it was dirt cheap and all I really needed. Believe I kept that sucka for three years.

I mean a value is a value. Hey I'll do DG if I can get a deal on an item.

Dollar General rocks!

Our local DG is in a an old converted TG&Y store Bigger than the normal DG store and you're liable to see people from all walks of life in there.

Plus, for some reason I love doing the digital coupons. I'm not a paper coupon clipper, but I will do me some digital clipping. $5.00 off $25.00 on Saturdays and all.

I go once in awhile cause it’s all we have here instead of driving 20 min to a town with a grocery store.

It’s either that or a small Chinese owned grocery store which is marked way up. So if I need say bread or some drinks and not a whole weeks worth of groceries I’ll just go to DG. It is pretty shitty but serves a purpose

They’re the #2 retailer behind Walmart. I’d say they are doing well

Most of them in Louisiana are, but it beats walking miles through Walmart for toilet paper and deodorant and pet food. Their prices are usually legit.

The one I went in in Lufkin, Texas was spotless. Aisles fully stocked, shelves fronted and faced. Unbelievable the difference from what I'm used to in Clinton, Baker, and Zachary. Although the one on Plank in Zachary is one of the better ones around.

How dare you insinuate that Dollar Tree is like DG. At least you can find shite in Dollar Tree unlike a Dollar General. DT is my go place to go for balloons and wrapping paper when the balloons there are a buck and the same ones at Rouses or other party places are 7-10 bucks.

The Dollar Tree near me is mostly full of holiday/seasonal stuff. It's not a general store like Dollar General.

DG is the cheapest propane tank exchange in town. And it’s a good place to grab a frozen pizza when I don’t feel like going to Walmart for one damn thing.

It’s one of the easiest places to get into and out of if you need just a few basics.

Dollar store is the garden of eden compared to any store found in a socialist country.

You trashing Dollar General is pretty fricking ironic and not to mention funny considering how much you love socialism and communism.

People Venezuela and North Korea would fricking love a Dollar general right now and would think it's absolute heaven and you would have us use their same economic systems.

Dollar Tree and Dollar General are completely different stores. They can't be compared, IMO.
