I did a very brief search on La law and found that before you are allowed to sign the birth cert you must sign an Affidavit admitting Paternity.

And his decision as a single father was to begin dating and move in with an already pregnant woman who was already pregnant by another man when they met. Roll that situation around in your head. What the hell kind of things is he teaching his son?
Go back to being a single dad and focus your life on your son.
