If you love your pets you cook regular food for them. Dog food and cat food give them cancer.

My inconsiderate neighbors use to let their cat out to do it's business in my bush/flower beds. Damned cat would piss, shite, dig holes and the stench was terrible. I trapped the damn thing in a cage one weekend and got my revenge. Yep, I pissed all over that damned cat while it was in the varmint cage. The Mrs wouldn't allow me to hook up the car battery.
And yes, I released it. It stayed away too.

I would try waiting out the cat. If it drinks the lukewarm water, then you don't have to bother with the ice. Better yet, if it doesn't drink the lukewarm water, you rid yourself of a cat.

Interesting. My cat hates ice. If I need to laugh, I will put ice in the bowl and he goes nuts, making sure to paw it out of the water and splash water everywhere
Generally, he only drinks running faucet water. I can’t tell you how many times I accidentally leave the water running

Mine gets filtered water.
