If you can stall until May you will be much better off in the long term.
If your new child is born, you and the current girlfriend can go to city hall with a custody agreement and get it signed by a judge. Once that agreement is in place, you and your ex will use a calculated formula based on her salary and your salary AFTER the other custody is reduced, so it will be much less than before. This is probably the reason the ex is trying to ask for it now.
The way the law works, whichover mother files for child support first makes much more than the other.
