If so that’s one of those political games that should end. Not renewing taxes is raising taxes. Tax cuts should never have a sunset date, but tax increases should always have one. Force those fricks to justify continuing tax increases, reversing tax cuts, and as always justify raising taxes.

As for tax reform. 2017 Cuts should for most part become permanent with some reform on credits and tax exempt organizations.

CATO has some ideas that should be reviewed and debated.

Save by repelling Biden’s Inflation “Reduction” Act and end it’s and other green energy subsidies. CATO has stated that will save around $1 trillion over 10 years.

Repeal the low income housing credit. $150 billion over 10 years.

Relook at the CHIPS and Science Act. and it’s $24 billion in tax credits. Not a complete repeal but a reform.

Reverse or reform Municipal bond interest income being tax free for lender. $350 billion over 10 years.

Reform what organizations should actually be considered tax exempt and remove those abusing system that are business like including some credit unions, utilities, hospitals, insurance companies, golf clubs, and so on (not all under these categories but reform them to eliminate the abuse).

Repeal tax credit for employer FICA taxes on employee tips.

Reform education tax subsidies

Looks like he is a seasonal ranger if that happened with all of these ridiculous mass layoffs. There are a lot of variations of how they staff the parks and there are not a lot permanent full time no -furlough positions. My supervisor will be on furlough for 17 days as she has been every year. This time she cannot take her laptop home since all telework is no longer allowed - but she is not being paid those 17 days either.
