If you have both CLEAR and Precheck, you very rarely have to wait longer than 10 mins or so. Often just walk right through. Worth whatever the cost is.

From all I’ve read MSY is normal.

Can confirm. Flew to Vegas a couple weeks ago and I think I was through PreCheck in 4 minutes.

No issue getting through pre-check in <5 min last Wednesday morning. FWIW the regular security line looked to be moving pretty quickly as well.

You know at MSY the security lane splits with regular passengers on left and handicapped/priority on the right. No one is gate keeping. The last three time i had priority boarding i went to the right and got in the short line and no one checked anything. Not precheck or clear. The first class line.

I've been to MSY for early flights, and they just let you through without much hassle. No taking off your shoes and stuff like that.

Wait times have been no different for me at MSY, LaGuardia, Midway or LAX since the shutdown.

Had no wait this morning at BTR. Just walked up to TSA agent and scanned my ID.

Even ATL was flowing this morning. Precheck took about 15 minutes from start of the line through the machines.
