Lowes > Home Depot
If for no other reason than the way Home Depot handles "self-checkout" terminals. It is frustrating to wait in line at the only manned self-checkout because they don't have enough employees to stand guard over the other 5 empty terminals. I realize that the d...

re: Do you own a hammock?

Have two custom hammocks sewn by Papa Smurf over at Dream Hammock. Differentially cut with zip on bug netting; most comfortable way you'll ever sleep outside. Wife and I take them backpacking a few times per year. Agree with a few other posters though - they're in storage for the summer and will ...
Not just a California problem. In Louisiana a family friend is just now getting closure after a drunk driver hit and killed their son three years ago. It was the guy's 6th DUI. ...
Either (b) or (d). The non-host team should not be punished for protecting their girls. For clarification, did they actually replay the game from start or simply postpone the remainder of the game to a later date?...
Following up: We ended up going to Hernandos as suggested and had a great time. Atmosphere was awesome and the wings and pizza were both very good. Thanks for the suggestion!...
The website let me order a Curado 200K right hand in 5.1.1. for $119. Paid for it and got a conformation - 45 min later they called and said it wasn't actually in stock and canceled the order. Bummed because I pick up 1-2 per year to build my collection any time I find them on sale. ...

Recently changed jobs and looking for a place to get my hair cut that's (somewhat) on the way to or from work. I drive from Gonzales along I10 down 110 to Airline. I have a pretty average white privilege guy haircut - not difficult but would rather go somewhere other than super cuts or sports clips ...

Got to be in the Superdome with my dad for that game. Will forever remember watching Chase catch the TD that put us on the board and celebrating with a Hurricane at Pat-O's after with my dad. ...
Limbsaver
This is the right answer. Put one on my Tikka .308 and it significantly cut down on felt recoil. [link=(https://limbsaver.com/collections/recoil-pads)]Limbsaver.com[/link] The guy from Backfire is releasing a new style recoil pad that's supposed to be the bee's kne...

Depends on the model, some of them have shorter pulls. But ultimately that's how I ended up picking a rifle that the LOP could be adjusted on. ...

re: ***Thanksgiving Day IST***

Happy Thanksgiving all! Sitting with my son. Quick trip behind the house before breakfast then heading to Metairie for a late lunch with the in-laws. Planning to bring the 4-year old with me tomorrow afternoon - will be his first sit and a riveting experience for us both lol ...
I actually shoot a Tikka Hunter in .308. He's shot it a few times but isn't as accurate with it from the bench rest - which I attribute to the increased recoil. It will be his to shoot once he is older though, I love that gun. ...
