Ah, a man of culture and intelligence. No wonder people are offering you better jobs in less shitty states.

Also, TX doesnt have state tax but they MORE than make up for it with exorbitant property taxes.. Good luck .
Orange County property taxes are 0.69%. Dallas property taxes are about 1.4%. I seriously doubt that makes up for the 9.5% difference in state income taxes.

I would move to California in a second.
Probably will when I retire
beaches, mountains, deserts, forests
legal weed
perfect weather year round
small towns, vineyards, national parks, world class cities and international airports
there’s a reason there’s a California dream
I would move to Reno then. The only thing you lose is the beach, which is overrated anyway, and you get no state income tax.

We might make a stop in Cali. The extra pay well covers the extra expenses especially if you purchase a home, the sale of the home when you move back to the free world will more than make up for any cost of living expenses that are excessive for most of Cali.

Bold claim in this economic climate.

This is why whenever i hear or read people say “I wish California would just fall off into the ocean!” - i automatically think their IQ must be severely low…. I lived in CA, and i met way more rednecks than i ever met living in Louisiana .. CA is a mix of lots of different types of people , and it can pretty much be whatever you want it to be, and has pretty much something for everyone .
We are aware those people exist. Their sacrifice will not be forgotten after we pray Cali into the sea.

Be a man and make a decision. You are asking the OT for God’s sake!

Correct me if im wrong- but it sounds like this board is saying you can’t be a Republican if you dont support Trump… that sounds an awful lot like cultish behavior to me .

At one time a company I worked for offered me a similar, or slightly better, position in California.
For basically no pay increase.
How does everyone else get offered double with the same company?

The older one is shy and just recently got his social confidence up. That is probably my biggest issue; this is a bad move for him
He's fricking 7...he'll meet new people.
If he was 12/13, then I could see your point better.

for someone who hates this board soo much, i’m not sure why you stick around. you and the OP should move to the internet version of California, Reddit.
