I don't know, a legit Soviet style gulag might be more punishment. The guards would definitely have their fun with her, as would the other prisoners.

Imagine being the husband/father that has to deal with loss of kid, support your wife in her trial, wrestle with the fact your wife killed your kid, and continue to work.
Not sure I’d have the strength for all that.

No death is too good for her.
She should live a long life in a small cell with daily reminders that she killed her own daughter. And nothing allowed that would let her commit suicide

She wasn’t arrested at the time of the accident - her arrest was 3 months after. She apparently went with her children to the hospital immediately after the accident happened.
